MATHS AND ENGLISH UK TRAINED PRIMARY TEACHER
BRITISH EXPAT FAMILIES STOP STRESSING! I SPECIALISE IN HELPING YOUR CHILDREN AGED 4 -10 YEARS OLD RETAIN AND EXCEED UK CURRICULUM STANDARDS.
Are you a British Expat family here in the U.S. ?
I’m a British Maths and English Primary school teacher and mum who relocated to Los Angeles a few years ago. I am VERY familiar with all the stresses of:
- wanting to retain and exceed the UK Curriculum Standards
- whilst trying to navigate the maze that is the US school system!
Get in touch now by clicking the email icon if, while looking into your child’s schooling, ANY of these words have caused your anxiety levels to rise!
(TK, Kindergarten, Common Core, Public, Private, Magnet, Charter, SAS schools, School Lotteries, Permits, Vaccinations and the list goes on….)
Based in LA, I am a passionate and experienced UK trained British Primary School Maths and English teacher who loves helping children including those with Special Needs excel and flourish. Seeing in a child’s face the joy when things make sense and their pride and delight in self accomplishment, the ‘I can do it’ moment is priceless.
My experience also comes with the first-hand knowledge gained from transitioning my own daughter from the UK to the Los Angeles school system.
In brief, my particular strengths are:-
- Providing BESPOKE Maths and English primary teacher sessions that are fun, engaging, interactive, and challenging
- Working 1:1 or in small groups with your child’s needs as the focus
- Assisting Expats really wanting to bridge the gap between the US and UK curricula (Reception – Year 4)
- Supporting families trying to navigate the complexities of the LA School System
- Watch here to see how we can best work together:
“Ade has always demonstrated very high professional skills. The children enjoy her lessons and she is always well prepared with suitable tasks for the age group. In the classroom She has a calm but firm manner, She is always cheerful and has built up good relationships with pupils and the rest of the staff.”
“Ade quickly showed her commitment to the class, planning thoroughly and carrying out careful marking and assessments of the children’s needs. Ade’s classroom organisation was excellent, with high quality displays of children’s work….Ade’s relationships with pupils was also excellent…”
“Miss Ade! Thank you, thank you, thank you for serving with our kids this year! You have been an amazing example of Godliness, grace, love and order for our kids. I have seen so much growth in them and we have both learned so much from you! You are so loved and so appreciated!”
