Chrissie Hayman
Online Mathematics Tuition- ages 8 – Adult, 11+ (English, Maths, Verbal, Non Verbal), Undergraduate Level Maths Support.
I’m an Online Maths Tutor with 10 years of experience tutoring students worldwide (UK, USA, Europe and China).
I tutor ages 8 to Adult in Maths (Functional Skills, NVQ/GCSE/IGCSE/A Level and IB) and provide additional services in 11+ tuition for KS2 (English, Maths, Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning).
I taught for 3 years as a Secondary School Maths teacher (QTS) and completed my PGCE at Kings College London.
I’ve been an an Examiner for Edexcel for GCSE mathematics for 3 years
I have experience in KS2 and KS3 Maths Support, KS4/ GCSE/ I GCSE Maths, KS5/ IB/ A Level Maths as well as Functional Skills/NVQ Maths, Edexcel, OCR and AQA.
Over the past 10 years, I have tutored a wide range of students locally and internationally for general school exams and selective exams with many achieving selective status at both Grammar schools and Independent schools alike.
I believe in a personal, candid approach, constantly making students and parents aware of the level the student is currently working at and of course the level required for their specific examination. I tutor online using Skype or Zoom to communicate and Bit paper as a collaborative whiteboard to share resources such as worksheets, questions and activities.
Every lesson is coupled with an email home to the student and parent with homework and feedback from the lesson. The homework will be online with the subject covered in the lesson and if the student is an exam student, it will always include Exam-style questions for their specific exam board.
Additionally, once a month, a full feedback email will be sent home detailing what was covered that month, areas of strengths and weaknesses, extra resources and methods of how the student can improve outside of lessons.
- Local and International Online Tuition
- Tutor via Skype/Zoom and use Bit Paper as a Collaborative Whiteboard
- Homework will be set and marked weekly
- Monthly feedback email to student and parent
- Watch here to see how we can best work together:
“Chrissie tutored me for just under a year whilst I completed my A level course. I thoroughly enjoyed my lessons with Chrissie as she made the lessons informative and engaging but entertaining at the same time.
I feel my work with her gave me a greater understanding of the course that I really struggled with previously and feel she is a great asset to have when studying maths.”
